ragvette1970@hotmail.com: | | Sweet ride, had one like it, burgundy vinyl roof and four gear. Was not a GTO but a Lemans Sport coupe. Beautiful design. Best looking rear end for all the seventies. Miss that car. (edited) |
charlie: | | This GTO is sharp no doubt... love the paint. |
Wally: | | Shortly after I bought mine in fall of 73, I came across a brand new Grand Am In a local wrecking yard. It was totaled with less than 1,000 mile on the clock. I bought the tail lights from the Grand Am and installed them on my GTO. Kind of a neat looking upgrade with the Chrome trim that split the tailight into two Horizontal lights. I thought it fitting, since the GTO's traditionally had a different tail light treatment than the LeMans. Not sure where that car is now, probably in the weeds somewhere in NW Pennsylvania. Last I knew it had an Olds 350 in it. How Humiliating!!. If any body has found this car, (Flourentine red, White vinyl top, Red interior w console, & Honeycomb wheels) how about posting it. |
