| Pioneer: | | Those 'seams' are part of the dual-action tailgate. Drop it down like a truck or swing it open like a door. That chrome section is the latch for the 'swing' and the hinge for the 'gate'. When it's open like a door, the opened latch also provides a step. The gas door is on the drivers side of the car with the gas tank (on the left) where the spare tire is (on the right). |
