Here is the window sticker for this Wilderness Green 1972 GTO Sport Coupe. This GTO cost a total of $2911.92. The suggested retail price is only $2166.73. This goat has a 3.55 rear end, no power brakes, but there is the optional pedal trim, Rally Gauge cluster (including tach), white Rally Stripe, AM radio, glove box and luggage lamps, dual horns, Rally II wheels, and door edge guards. Factory options added later include AM/FM radio (silver buttons), rear bumper guards, carpeting, air shocks and a Ram Air system.

Paul Salow:   This is an odd window sticker price. My 72 GTO's window sticker price shows $5,140.12. Must have been WAY cheaper to get the pillar post model? My hardtop base price before destination and options was $2,970. Hard to believe it cost a bit over $800 more to get a Lemans hardtop back then. (this is before the GTO option, it's not included in the base Lemans price). Wow, if this is correct, guess there were real ways to save $$$ on a new GTO back then.
