Sundance Orange 1972 GTO hardtop, left side view. The ducktail spoiler is very rare. There were only a handful of cars that got them from the factory, as the mold which was used to make them was for low-run prototype parts only. The factory mold broke, so they discontinued the spoilers. From what we understand, there are only two in existence. One is on the road in the Chicago area and the other is sitting in a barn wrecked. The ducktail spoiler pictured here is probably not original and purchased from a well known Pontiac supplier that is remanufacturing them. The mold for this reproduction came from the car in Chicago.

www.wheelsupgoat@aol.com:   I pulled up anything Sundance Orange for 72. I got 2 cars, 1 is red! It is code Z. This is the color. Add a 455HO, #614 white stripe...
