I was 15 years old working for a car detailer when I bought mine in 1975. The car was still only 6 years old. Drove the car to high school. All my friends had "the" cars, 69 Camaro SS, 69 Charger 440 Magnum 6pack, 69 Nova SS, 70 Vette, 69 Mach1. There were thirteen of us all within a two block radius all with similar cars. Our parking lot then would look like any car show of today. No matter what they all drove, they loved and we still talk about "THE JUDGE". I found your car by searching the color, (that was my same color). I've never seen any that color before, or until now. It was in Fort Wayne, Indiana and I sold the car because the clutch went out and remember I was 15 and had never changed a clutch before. If I knew then... Wonder where she is now? I'll have to dig up the VIN#. Thanks for the memories and please continue to give her a good home. |

| bhelton: | | Shane,this is identical to the car I bought in Lebanon, MO in in 1971 with 9,000 miles on it. Like Ed, I sold it when the clutch was going out and gas had gone up to 35 cents per gallon! Oh what I wish I had known then that I know now! It's a beautiful car! I understand this color was very rare. Mine was VERY quick and nobody around could touch it. What a gas! Thanks for the blast from the past. I'd love to see yours "in person". |
