1969 GTO convertible on a checkered floor. Red! This car appears to have the optional Rally stripes. See the white pinstripe on the lower portion of the front fender? That's part of the Rally stripe that ran the length of the car, just above the rocker moulding. This car appears to be restored to concours standards. That looks like one of the "starting instructions" cardboard tags on the sun visor.

Interior Color: red
Visible Options: hideaways

1stCoastWeb: Very nice! This is the 1st 69 Red-on-red convertible I have ever seen besides my own. I've been restoring mine for 2 years and hope to complete by 2004. It's a 69 convertible with RA3 4 speed. All #'s matched and documented at 49k miles. (edited)
Frances: I had a car like this back when I worked in the National Hurricane Center building several years ago. I would drive it to work once in a while. The color combo is nice.
Milegend: Gorgeous Goat! Had one many years ago. Mine also had the hideaway headlights. Would go like lightning!
RAIVCH: Incredible... What do the white letters on the hood show? Isn't it a Ram Air IV?!
reggie: Beautiful color, my 69 convert looks identical but with parchment. I painted mine some 20 years ago to a GM color that looks like this one. Could you tell me if it is stock and the number?
Johnny Mac: Wow! Great looking Goat. I had a red '69 convertible with red interior, air, power windows, white top, Ram-Air III, 3sp auto/w/air trans, and red line tires. Fast, fast fast. Passed everything but a gas station. Headlight hideaway panels used to wink up and down alternately when the little black plastic vacuum line manifold would get a hairline crack in it.
