Silver 1967 LeMans hardtop owned by Kevin from Daytona Beach, Florida. Kevin added, "It's LeMans GTO clone, in need of some TLC, but she isn't in too bad of shape after sitting in storage for two years. I just purchased it last week and I can't wait to get working on it. I just want to do some minor repairs to make her road worthy, and maybe a new coat of paint to freshen her up a bit. Most of the rubber window, and door seals need replaced due to dry rot. I plan on using it as a daily driver when I'm finished, so I don't want to put too much time and money into it. I live in Florida and I trailered it home from Texas where I purchased it. I got tons of compliments from people on the way home with it.... I've always wanted a GTO, and really could never afford one, but I figure this is the next best thing, and maybe one day I can move up to the real thing. I absolutely love these cars, ever since I was a kid I have always dreamed of owning one." Kevin's got a pretty cool semi trailer carport.

jmf@monarch-hyd.com: Nice car. I am curious about one thing. In the '67 body style(Tempest,Lemans,GTO) the Lemans was the only car to have the 3 gill plates behind the door. This car does not sport that feature. Is it a Tempest/GTO clone? What makes this a Lemans? I'm asking only because I have a '67 Lemans, and maybe I will learn a little more. Sincerely, Squire John (edited)
elmo: Very nice clone. As 4 the other gentleman you have to fill those louvers or replace the quarters and add a new tail panel, lights, rear bumper, grille surrounds, rocker chrome, hood, grilles and park lights, and emblems. I would check the value of your LeMans first. (edited)
