Signet Gold 1967 GTO hardtop owned by Chad Haas from Portland, Oregon. Chad commented, "I thought everyone might enjoy some pictures of a restored gas station located on Lombard Avenue in Portland, Oregon. It was formerly a Signet Gas station and has been restored back to its original beauty, including porcelain enameled signs, neon and an octagonal tower sign that is simply striking. That's my 1967 Royal Bobcat GTO parked alongside.

After a 2000 hour restoration, the car was built factory correct exactly as I would have ordered it from Royal Pontiac: Hurst Wheels, Red Fender Liners (not shown in these pics), a extremely rare Rally Gauge Cluster (one of half a dozen documented featuring Rally Gauges, Clock and a Hood Tach), Air Conditioning, Wood Wheel with Tilt Column, Power Windows, Power Antenna, Console Mounted Vacuum Gauge, PS, PB (aluminum disc), Remote Mirror, Deluxe Seat Belts, Soft-Ray tinted glass and Firestone Red line tires.

The signs in these photographs showcase what I'm up to in my 'spare time'. I pursue rare examples of antique advertising and have set about to recover and preserve this past by manufacturing very limited edition porcelain enamel signs, neon clocks and porcelain neon signs that have been copied from rare originals."

jeffhhs76: Gorgeous Car!!! Absolutely beatiful... The nicest one I've ever seen. Even nicer than mine! Great Job Chad...Best of luck with it...
jeffmck: I'm very impressed that you built the car as a Royal Bobcat car. My dad had a 1968 GTO and he purchased the Royal Bobcat kit for it in 1968. When it was done, he assured me that it was an awesome ride. He also just recently parted with a solid 1966 GTO w/a 455 ci documented from a 1973 GTO. I drove that car, and it WAS an awesome ride. I too live in Portland Metro area. Maybe I'll see your car sometime. Awesome car - great job! (edited)
