Don Gay was the one who got me attracted to the GTO back in the early 1970's. I used to love to watch him drag race his GTO's on television. These cars are at the NHRA Winternationals.

Richard Kirkland:   This brings back some great memories for me. Don and his younger brother Roy (Deceased) are my cousins and I grew up with them. The Gay's were drag racing legends in those days. This car is the first Infinity. There were more to follow. I worked at the Houston Drag Raceway in the late sixties and owned a 68 goat I bought new from Gay Pontiac for $3,800 drive out. Thanks for the picture! Bad Goat II:   The excellent weight transfer and brute power of this car made it a top contender, in it's day. Gay Pontiac was always a first class team.
