Kev Staalesen bought this Alamo Beige 1964 4-door Tempest for $175. Kev says, "Don't laugh, it's paid for! AND RUNS GRR-REAT!! It's got a 6 cylinder with a single barrel carb, 3-on-da-tree manual transmission, super-nice interior and the exterior features the optional 'northern-lightweight' bodystyle (commonly known as rust-through!). This one even came with wheels ..a nice, complete set of Rally II's!"

Interior Color: brown

Kev S: Update 2006... bought the above '64 in winter of '02 then actually made it driveable for the summer of '03. I called it the "2workandbacker" cause I only used it to drive to work - then prayed it'd get me back! Always ran great though & never left me for dead. January '04 I had to thin out my collection due to space confinements, so I wound up selling off all my '64s. If I could go back I'd have kept the left fender-mounted mirror (as seen in pic) and also the clutch pedals & linkage. I guess hindsight vision's 20/20, right? BTW still have the '67 parts car (and always will!)
Kev S: Tried to locate this (beige) 4dr last week (Jan '09), hoping to buy back the clutch pedal ass'y. The guy I sold it to, sold it to another guy, who 1yr later sold it BACK to him, and then he sold to some guy in no man's land, most likely never to be seen as a whole car again. All this for $500, that's what I sold it for back in '04 (as a package deal, along with a rust free non-running 4dr '64 Tempest). The things one is forced to do when quick cash is needed. *GULP* If I could turn back time~~
