: | | This looks like my old car. I lost it in a fishing accident. Yeah, I was on a concrete pier. The parking brake was not set, and the car rolled out off the end of the pier into the water. I don't recommend trying to catch fish by slamming into them with your front bumper.

: | | This is a beautiful car. Please resist the urge to modify your car. If you want a modified 64 find an old beater to cut up and preserve that beautiful piece of American history. I recently returned from the war and I (want?) to own a 64 and nothing pleases me more to see this picture. (edited)MESS

Man, I would love to see one of those driving down the road - something that is pretty rare these days for sure. |
Jerry: | | I had a GTO just like this in 1967. The only exception that mine had a white top on it. I sold it because I went into the Army for 2 years. It was sold in Toledo, Ohio. If this is in that area, please let me know. I would like to see it and I have a few pictures of it to show you. |
Stupid Guy: | | This GTO looks like mine did. I bought it new in 64 after returning home from the Air Force. I didn't have the money for some Torque Thrust wheels so off came the funky hub caps and the whole time I owned the car it looked just like this one except I had the red line tires. Mine was starfire red tripower and four speed and no other power accessories. It was never beat. I traded it in on a new 68 GTO and I have been kicking myself ever since. |
randy goldman: | | I have a 1964 Pontiac GTO, owned it for thirteen years. It took me two years to find it but it was worth the wait. In 1971 I owned a 1965 GTO 389 Tri Power 4 speed. It was too quick for the Bronx. Now I'm enjoying my 1964 GTO 400 Tri Power 4 speed. (edited) |
