(from the 1974 Lot) NEW POST Reggie sends us some update information on his Red 1974 GTO. He says, "The rebuild was done by the previous owner on the original engine ended up breaking a crank. So I built a 1974 455, using #48 428HO heads, Comp Cam, Edelbrock Performer, Ram Air Restoration Long Branch Manifolds and a restified Quadrajet to dial it all in. The hood scoop is fully functional using a B&M detent switch kit, and the cool air exits out of 2.5 Pypes Exhaust. It is very distracting to drive with the early hood tach revving and the hood scoop flapping open! I upgraded to 15x7 Rally II wheels 255/65/R15 up front and 275/60/R15 out back with PMD center caps and early lug nuts. Inside I replaced the worn out red interior with all black, installed a '69 wood steering wheel and shifter knob." Reggie now has a Red 1965 GTO as well.

(from the 1965 Lot) NEW POST Red 1965 GTO hardtop owned by Reggie Horning from Traverse City, Michigan. Reggie says, "I bought this car on eBay the week before Easter [2011]. I was really thinking I would part the car out after a horrible description from the seller. Once I got out there to see the car though, I saw a real diamond in the rough. After several months of hustling, here is the finished product, with 2 inch lowered Hotchkis Suspension, complete with Bilstein Shocks and huge stabilizer bars have this car handle like it's on rails with Vintique 15x7 wheels and Radial Redlines. The heart of the beast is a 69 GTO 400 with a Muncie M-21 from the same car and a 3.55 Posi rear-end. She purrs like a kitten thru 3" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and Pypes tail pipe tips. I restored the car myself including new interior and extensive engine bay resto to give it that 60s vintage street racer look." Reggie also owns a Red 1974 GTO.
