(from the 1966 Lot) 1966 GTO hardtop burgundy in front of storage. This one has Rally II wheels and a black interior. Notice that this GTO is also in front of the same storage shed as the previous 1966 black GTO - I wonder what's behind door number 3?

(from the 1966 Lot) Burgundy 1966 Tri-Power GTO hardtop owned by Jeff Cushman from Cincinnati, Ohio. Jeff tells us, "I got it for Christmas 1995 with 38k original miles. It needed some work, re-chroming, carpets, exhaust etc. but body and paint were done. I put
power steering on but everything else is bone stock and original -
Tri-Power, 4 speed and 3:55 Safe-T-Trac."

(from the 1966 Lot) Here is the 1966 GTO of Bill & Kari Banas from Rhode Island. It is Burgundy with a red interior. The engine is a 400 from a 1967 GTO. The Powerglide has been replaced with a TH-400, although the original shifter was maintained with a conversion kit from Shiftworks. Original 3.90's dropped to 3.55 to make it a bit more driveable for highway cruising.

(from the 1966 Lot) Bill & Kari Banas sent in these updated pictures of their burgundy 1966 GTO hardtop. Here's what they had to say, "Long story made very short; bought it from my best friend who lives in Georgia. It was allegedly rebuilt by the previous owner. Two years and lots of cash later, the 67 GTO 400 runs like a dream, the Wilwood front discs stop on a dime and give .09 cents change, the TH-400 w/ 3.55 Richmond gears
put the power to the road and the Holley Street Avenger carb and Dominator intake keep all the fuel and air moving nicely through the opened scoop and repro ram-air pan. We still have the interior to finish and fresh paint to apply, but that'll have to wait for another day! Oh yeah, almost forgot about the wheels. After the front Rally II's were stolen from the shop while the brakes were being converted,
I took the opportunity to add 15x7 Torq Thrust D's all around. (p.s. Aluminum radiator by Rodney Red (these guys are awesome to deal with) MSD 6-AL ignition, Mallory Unilite conversion, Powermaster starter, Jet-Hot coated Hedman Hedders and a roadcourse style oil pan, screen and windage tray)"

(from the 1966 Lot) Burgundy 1966 GTO sport coupe owned by Kirk Meeker from Cranesville, Pennsylvania. Kirk comments, "I got the car about 10 years ago when my Dad passed away. My Dad bought the car from a local Pontiac dealer in Girard, Pa. The salesman that sold him the car in 1966 originaly bought the car for his son as a graduation present. A few weeks after having the car, the kid (Hossman) was picked up for drag racing and his Dad made him sell it. The funny thing is that my girlfriend's Dad is friends with Earl Hossman (the salesman). So few years ago Earl came to a car show I was at and we stafted talking. Earl took a picture of the car and sent it to his son in Phoenix Az. They were both suprised at how well the car was taken care of over the years. As of today 1-2-04 the car has 51,372 original miles on it. The car is all original including the paint. The lady in the picture is my Mom the 2nd owner along with my Dad."

Tom adds, "I got this 66 GTO a few years ago on the internet from Pete in Colorado. I have done some engine work, interior work and had a complete body and paint restoration. It turns heads everywhere and is serious fun to drive and show."
