se1963: | | This thing looks hideous. Everyone WILL be looking at you and yelling out, "Hey, Batman!" |
81X11: | | See what could have happened. Now do you like the 2004? |
NaOH: | | Yeah, this is what could've happened. Thank goodness it didn't, though. I can guarantee you that this car would not have lasted more than 2 or 3 years before being canned. Speaking solely for myself, I'd like for the GTO to still be around when I manage to finish school and be in a position to afford one. |
chance: | | I SELL CARS AND IF THIS CAR WAS ON THE LINE,WE WOULD SELL OUT SO QUICK WE WOULD BE ON BACKORDER FOR YEARS. This is what it shoulda looked like, but not front wheel drive like the designer was saying it was gonna be. Imagine this thing with a zo6 motor screaming by you, definetly a head turner. Pontiac is known for it flair and pizazz but this year just slapping a GTO badge on a Monaro ain't cuttin it. I still like the 04 GTO but when I saw this thing, I thought BYE AUSSIES HELLO USA! DOWN WITH BOB LUTZ AND HIS SIMPLISTIC IDEA OF NOT PAYING HOMAGE TO THE ORGINAL FOR SOME OVERPRICED POS MONARO! |
Melvin: | | Hey se1963, the Batmobile is sweet and so is this radical design. (edited) |
junebug66132: | | I agree with melvin, this is better than what Pontiac actually put out. |
Evan Scott: | | Preparing myself for the hate mail. I don't really like it that much. It's futuristic and has subtle styling cues from some of the older models, and it's pretty sweet looking ride. But, it's almost too over the top. Eh, who am I kiddin', I'd take it, but not if I had the option of choosing between one of the classics. |
Dan: | | Look at it; it’s the new Chevy Camaro. |
latech47: | | Resembles a Cadillac XLR or New Camaro...not my cup of tea. |
